These educational, interactive, and fun learning encounters feature endangered animal species. The focus of these programs is to stimulate curiosity about animals and their habitats, and encourage children to respect their natural world. It shows students how to help save this quickly disappearing animals. Safari Day Trip An exciting exploration into the world of animals designed specifically for children. Based on the theme of "endangered," this program includes a thirty-minute or a two-hours long guided tour available 7 days a week. This program will give students the opportunity to get up close and personal with our feathered, furred and scaled friends. Volunteers & biologists will lead students through the tour. Students become explorers of the facility including live animal spotlight and numerous activity station.
Mobile Education Unit We come to you. This is an exciting live animal presentation brought directly to your class. The one-hour program provides an unusual educational experience blending scientific knowledge with intimate opportunities to study endangered animals. All lessons incorporate the California State Science Standards for the natural sciences. Information is geared to the specific grade levelís science standards and taught in an interactive format.Examples of some of the lessons we provide include: Life Cycles, Animal Teeth, Adaptations, Survival, Food Webs, Conservation, California Natives, Desert Biome, and Rainforest Biome
